One of the questions that came out of this interview with @Rina_Hicks on her #MoneyWiseKE show was how businesses without a budget can grow their brands.
My advise on the show was to prioritise marketing the way you’d prioritise paying KRA, your rent or even your staff.
Marketing is a core #GrowthHack for businesses that want to remain economically viable, attract the right talent and simplify their sales process.
But because the journey of a1000 miles starts with the first step, here are quick tips you can use to promote your business.
- Tell your friends about your business; tell them exactly what you do and be brave to tell them that you need them as customers; then ask them to help you spread the word.
- Use your WhatsApp status and profile picture as your ‘billboard space’ so that every time someone communicates with you they see your business.
- Use your WhatsApp stories to share deals or any offers you may have.
Create your own posters using free online platforms like Canva which help you to design anything for free.
- Ask those who have used your services or tried your products for (esp. video) testimonials so that you can share them on whatever digital platform you’re using.
- Lastly, monitor what gave you the highest value – and repeat the process.
Do Not Get Tired. Business is Not For the Faint Hearted. Forget about feeling like you’re disturbing people #ChillsForWho
The more people see you (remember Rocky Driving school and their annoying ad 🙂 >> the more they will trust you >>> the higher your chances for sales.
